ATM Protocol Workshop

New rules effective April 24, 2003 have established an additional requirement for all documented midwives practicing midwifery in Texas. In addition to complying with the Texas Midwifery Act and the rules of the Texas Midwifery Board, each midwife must develop, update and adhere to specific practice protocols relating to the provision of midwifery care.

Shortly after this new rule went into effect, ATM sent out a letter to all documented midwives. We offered to teach workshops on how to write personal protocols. The first Protocol Workshop was taught in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (Grand Prairie). Here are some pictures taken at that workshop.
